Within these regions we can assist exporters/would-be exporters by identifying and introducing agents, distributors, dealers etc. with whom our principal will then deal directly. We will advise on the feasibility / achievability etc of business plans submitted by distributors and dealers.

 

Sales Performance - the heart of any business - can be one of the great uncertainties in any international organisation. Good ideas all too often fail to turn into high profits precisely because the promotion of products is not handled in the best way for the specific business area. We can assist in the development of sales and distribution channels that suit the target country. We will survey the competition, advise on advertising and publicity strategies, guard against the more common mistakes and cultural or political gaffes. Most countries have networks and etiquettes through which business is conducted. We have already established valuable contacts in many countries where we can negotiate agreements and arrange mutually beneficial partnerships.

We do not (as is common practice) simply select distributors and agents from one or other of the international trade directories. Instead, often working with substantial and reputable institutions known to us in the target country, we thoroughly research and present carefully screened, qualified companies. Before we introduce any candidate to you we will have meticulously appraised the company and ascertained the influence it wields locally; we will have talked to its management, discussed your product and we will have confirmed positive interest, at director or GM level, in your business and products.

In short, we can shape and execute the whole package for you from concept - navigating the minefields of diplomacy and bureaucracy and undertaking the all-important market intelligence - through to a healthy operating presence.

Many territories are less free than Western markets and your business development is consequently very dependent on the quality of your business partners. We find the right people and ensure that dealers are reliable and properly motivated, make the best use of promotions, raise their standards of customer service and place your products and services in the right windows of opportunity.

 

Location is important.  A home-based office is not the place to set up and direct a business in a new and distant country.  It is important to be there, to know the markets, to develop the management, guide the workforce, make the contacts with customers, suppliers, shippers etc.

 

Overseas Business start-up.  We can be of valuable help if you should wish to establish your own business or branch in many overseas territories.  We have some 25 years experience of establishing branches, subsidiaries and joint ventures around the world.
